Lamar Smith is a seasoned energy executive and project developer with over 20 years of cross-sector leadership in energy infrastructure, power projects, financial markets, and emerging energy technologies. Proven expertise in originating, structuring, and executing large-scale development initiatives across the midstream, refining, carbon, and power sectors. Deep financial acumen with a background in global macro strategies and institutional banking, including roles with Chase Manhattan Bank, Bear Stearns, and Bank of America. Adept at navigating complex regulatory environments, managing investor relationships, and aligning infrastructure strategy with market evolution.
Mr. Kendall has extensive experience in the power space. He was President of Cogen Technologies Capital Company, L.P., and was the founder and Chairman/CEO of Palmetto Partners, Ltd. (the investment office for a Forbes 400 family with a net worth exceeding $1 billion). He was also involved in establishing significant private equity programs, as well as advising corporations on project and lease financings, public offerings, strategic issues, mergers and acquisitions and workouts and reorganizations at Morgan Stanley, Drexel Burnham, Kendall Capital and Credit Suisse First Boston.
Mr. Kendall serves as a board member of American Midstream Partners, SolarCity Capital, Stream Energy and Tangent Energy. Additionally, Mr. Kendall has served as a Trustee of Hamilton College (and as a member of its Investment Committee), on the Board of Overseers of The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College, Earthwatch Institute, The Houston Zoo, The Jane Goodall Institute and The Prospect Park Alliance.
Mr. Kendall received a B.A. from Hamilton College and an M.B.A., magna cum laude (Tuck Scholar) from The Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
Mr. Wakefield is experienced in many aspects of the refining industry including refinery construction, plant management, and product sales while working for companies such as Tauber Oil, Mobil Oil, Atlantic Richfield, and Lyondell Basel. Mr Wakefield holds an MBA from Brennan school of Business at Dominican University, M.S. from the College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics at the University of Houston, and a B.S. from Illinois Institute of Technology.
